Would not it be better to take Medical 1 instead of Medical 2 when starting PPL training?

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Medical 1 has a validity of 1 year and Medical 2 has a validity of 5 years. Medical 1 is a full-fledged hospital and needs to be booked in advance. Medical 2 is available from any Aeromedical physician and can be used in all but the CPL stage of the training. According to your decision, you may request a Medical 1 appointment in advance. (Like 2019, in all EASA countries, a psychologist interview was additionally mandatory and in some countriest, it will be mandatory in this mother tongue)

In short, to start training as soon as possible Medical 2 is both effective and easy for us, this is our choice.
